The Don King Collection - Vol. 2 - Don King
A prolific songwriter Don wrote or co-wrote eight of then ten songs on the album including the haunting ode to his homestate of Nebraska entitled "Old Nebraska Memories".
A native of Omaha, Don and his family moved to Nashville in the mid 1970s to find success as a songwriter. Noted producer/arranger Bill Walker recognized his talent and signed him to the upstart independent label Con Brio Records.
All selections on the Don King Collection Volume 2 were produced and arranged by Bill Walker in Nashville, Tennessee during 1977 and 1978.
